Hallpass and Friends (part of Banning Applications) is a creative development shop working with businesses and non-profits to craft real solutions, providing learning opportunities along the way.
Vision
We believe that application development is more than just code—it’s a pathway to creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By embracing a philosophy of life-long learning, we are building a community of passionate learners, teachers, and motivators - all sharing expertise. Hallpass Academy is one tool that we offer to engage in "tech talk".
Process
Hallpass Academy is more than just a "blog". Every article started as a real problem that we faced or approach we researched. We use Obsidian to record all of our notes, and as a result, we have a large library knowledge nuggets that we transform into articles, challenges, and learning series.
